I've been taking my car there for a couple of years now. A couple of years ago, they replaced my spark plugs, spark plug wires and the coil pack. A week or so ago it developed a weird drivability issue. I took it in, and low and behold, the coil pack was misfiring and causing the issue. Imagine my surprise when I was told the part was under warranty, and my repair costs this time were going to be ZERO. I was quite pleasantly shocked to say the least. I am a disabled, ex auto mechanic, and cannot do the repairs on my car anymore. I have found Ken and his crew to be top notch and trustworthy, and would highly recommend them to anyone.
I brought my motorhome to Greenlight Garage April 20 for an oil change but also needed to have a glow plug replaced and a new battery. Greenlight did a thorough check of all my systems and the owner, Ken, called me to go over the areas that needed attention. The work was all done exactly as planned and I feel very confident about leaving for my summer travels. I really appreciate the fact that I got a text message from Greenlight with a link to view my motorhome inspection. I can see every system they checked and clearly see which areas need attention. I appreciate that in this new shop, they have a secured area for vehicles that will be kept overnight, which is great when I bring in my motorhome. I had also asked them to change the oil in my generator. I thought to myself that I better make a note of when that oil was changed, and then I realized that they'd put a nice sticker right by the generator control inside my motorhome, so I know when the next oil change is due. I really appreciate Ken's attention to detail. I've been going to Greenlight Garage for a number of years now and am a happy customer!
55 chevy series 2 pickup. V8 engine was lacking power, Ken got the ignition corrected, (previous mechanic had the distributor miss timed and was timing retarded.) And that's the correct non PC TERM for those concerned. Ken reset the distributor to the correct position, and the engine came to life, sounds and pulls like a V8 again. Valve seals replaced during this visit also. Great shop for me. Would recommend. Will use the shop again.
Started using Green Light Garage when our mechanic (a family member of Ken's) joined forces under Green Light. Brought son's 2011 Tahoe in for 100K maintenance service. Ken and his staff communicated well, both at drop off and along the way. Work was efficiently completed and the Tahoe is a happy camper! Green Light Garage is now the garage of choice for my vehicles, including my classic Chevelle!
